At Rio Rhythmics we have based our Foundation program on this core idea that we should all be versatile dancers, un-wedded to any particular style, but able to dance fluently from one style to another, understanding the cultural differences and enjoying the variety and benefits all styles offer. This is been the inspiration for our upcoming ‘Dance Versatility’ specialty workshops.
Take advantage of this GOLDEN opportunity to linger a little longer, explore and feel comfortable with some of the fundamental aspects of our most popular styles from our Foundation program. This is a holistic learning approach. What you learn in one style, compliments and re-enforces what you do in another, thereby developing YOU as a truly versatile dancer.
Each workshop contains a specific element of technique that you can then apply directly to the dance styles that covered.
Workshop 1
Explore the techniques involved of leading, following and connection then apply them to your favourite dance styles, Zouk Lambada, Bolero & Samba de Gafieira.
Workshop 2 Thursday
Use Salsa Suelta to evolve your footwork and body movement and see the difference in your Bachata and Forró.
These specialty workshops are open for all dancers, but highly recommended for Foundation 2 and 3
Members: $25 per workshop or $40 for TWO.
Non-members: $35 per workshop or $55 for TWO
