White Magic – Annual Fundraising Christmas Party 20 November 2016

Each year, Rio Rhythmics staff, students and supporters gather together at Colossus Hall, dressed head to toe in white for Rio Rhythmics’ fundraising event; White Magic Fundraising Christmas Party.

The mood is festive and relaxed, and entry includes a delicious smorgasbord of Brazilian food. Student teams and teachers will perform in a dance showcase followed by DJ sets for social dancing.

Fundraising for ASCEP and Royal Children’s Hospital
All profits from the event and raffle ticket sales are donated to ASCEP, a crèche for mentally and physically disabled children in Goiânia. Tarcisio and his family have been supporting ASCEP for the last 10 years and during that time have raised in excess of $40,000. In Brazil, ASCEP receives minimal support from government, forcing many of their dedicated staff go without pay to sustain their valuable work. Our support is essential to keep it going.

In support of the Royal Children’s Hospital, guests are encouraged to bring a gift suitable for children, which can be left under the Christmas tree on the night. All gifts must be new, boxed and wrapped items which Rio Rhythmics will personally deliver to the hospital the week following the event.
